    I added to my jacket.
    This sleeve is a tribute to my son.
    When he was just a little guy he didn't want to learn to read. To interest him I leaned into providing comic books and video games that required some reading to play.
    He eventually embraced both reading and gaming.
    We played Zelda together for hours on end.
    Those were happy hours.
    We vanquished evil more times than I can count.
    Now I resist evil without him.

        @NorcalGma2 I was reluctant to learn how to read, and my parents got me hooked on anime they would only provide subbed.
        They'd pause as long as it took me to read out the lines.
        Thank you for sharing, and reminding me of the love that infused my own childhood.

                      @NorcalGma2 My daughter was resistant to reading till Harry Potter arrived and overnight was a different person and read constantly...
