Book 6 of 2026.
This is a very stupid book written by someone so bad at math and physics that they made a TV show out of it. Burn in a fire. I can't believe this garbage is popular. <Looks around...>. Oh
Do not read. I am throwing my copy away.

@noplasticshower I watched the show, had no idea who the author was
After realizing it, Pines had such a similar vibe

I saw the title and first thought it was a book tie-in to this and got excited for a second.

@stroz I remain suspicious of everyone ever named Blake.

@noplasticshower this book is indeed stupid if you're reading it for science. I read the book (pre tv show) my take: it's about how a life might turn out if you made different decisions, what and who do you really value, and what you'd be willing to do to get back to your "real life". All of based on if we're living in a quantum-mechanics "many worlds interpretation" and using a fictitious device to experience those worlds. I read a story about human nature, not hard science, and liked it.

@noplasticshower This sounds like a clear policy based in a series of distinct events
One I do not disagree with...

@noplasticshower I've read a few Blake Crouch books and they have all felt like the author didn't really want a book, but was using the book as a vessel to get a video.

@todd I will never make that mistake again
