All the pictures of baby goats nesting birds and blooming flowers are such a lovely break from the unnatural world that I here offer a photo of the budding serviceberry tree in my back yard. It's only its second spring here so it's still establishing itself. Since its planting I've tried to cultivate an emotional connection with it. Ever since I read The Secret Life of Plants I've been enabled in my belief that we can communicate in some arcane way. #BloomScrolling
