Is it only conservatives that don’t get taught the Westminster system any more? Do these people really go to the polls thinking they’re voting for a party? It’s crazy people confidently mark ballots with no idea what they’re doing.

@jonw Democracy is the epitome of “use it or lose it.” And by “use it”, we must mean, also, “understand how to use it properly, and efffectively.” But ideologues are not interested in understanding, only in following the precepts of their beliefs.
