Iceland should be far ahead of Canada for #28. Canada won't be able to join the EU and may have crippling steep carbon taxes on exports because we are a climate villain spending billions to subsidize petro instead of transitioning the new energy system that the rest of the world is rapidly adapting. We are chained by the oilmen who will extract all the wealth they can before the oil economy collapses, then they will claim bankrupsy and the taxpayers get the toxic mess to cleanup. This is how the exploitation Canadian economy operates: we are a poster model for anti-sustainable. -
