)@ai6yr Unless the highlighted merge (choke) points are addressed by adding extra lanes or something, it's not going to help at a cost of a lot of extra pavement. Also requires too much shoulder-checking for the average North American driver. And shoulder checking at a very acute angle behind the driver.

Also, different curve radii means different approach speeds, which makes merging even more difficult. -
