@vmstan I was just thinking about how we went through 4 years of "daily what fresh hell is this" to 4 years of such calm and boring leadership that drinking through a straw, being old, and liking ice cream were the outrages and back into more daily assaults, arguably worse b/c this time they have project 2025 and [some] experience.

@User47 I sadly think that if we'd just elected Orange Man to a second term in 2020, that most of the guardrails would have still be in place, and while we would in that reality still think he was insane and things would have been a lot worse, in comparison to what we have now it would have been tame.
Him being away, and having the ability to surround himself with more and more enablers, and the time to plan, has made this so much worse.
