When you give an order you have to roll to see what the unit's response is, if they are too panicked to follow your instructions, or even if they heard you correctly! And for the units that you didnt issue orders to this turn you have to consult the cards

You can also tell a unit to become a messenger but don't be surprised if your orders get scrambled by the game of telephone #battletech
