One change that is maybe worth noting? I am fully aware that I am using the retail therapy dopamine hits to deal with *waves vaguely*. I'm also trying to be a liiiitle more intentional about it.
Most spends have been art supplies which bring GREAT joy. And after a few days of nightmares in a row, I splurged on the newest Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons games.
Hubby has been instructed to make me play, not scroll.

@MsHearthWitch No buy as a concept is great, but it's really only manageable when you're already pretty content and well prepared.
Which is to say, no shame. Being intentional about spending is a great first step, and being sure to get use / joy out of your purchases is an excellent second one.
Going down to a single person household (and having an income cut of approximately 75%) has really made me reconsider my relationship with spending, but with food treats mostly off the table? We all have to have something that makes us feel good. We really do.
