If you were buried alive for a hundred years, what's the first thing you'd do when you finally clawed your way through your coffin and all the dirt?
-
@minego if i had bones for hands, like if i was a skellington, I'd probably just sharpen my fingers into points
@swampgas I would as well in that situation, but you didn't say anything about being a skellington.
I mean, if being alive after 100 years is part of the premise then I don't think still having skin is an unreasonable assumption.
-
@jake4480 i need an illustration of killers era eddie smoking a skull bong

@minego i agree completely. Once we're in the realm of the supernatural anything goes

Swap the jeans for some JNCO and the shirt and jacket for a KoRn or Manson shirt and it could be me!

If you were buried alive for a hundred years, what's the first thing you'd do when you finally clawed your way through your coffin and all the dirt?
@swampgas Probably turn around and go back.

@swampgas Honestly, I'd probably be a cryptid watching people for a long while, trying to re-acclimate to other entities besides myself existing.

@erik so cozy after all

@sparrows thats the thing right? After a hundred years alone in a coffin you'd be mad with insights into the workings of your mind and the universe of consciousness but your reawakening in the material would be startling

If you were buried alive for a hundred years, what's the first thing you'd do when you finally clawed your way through your coffin and all the dirt?
@swampgas Visit the graves of all the people I loathed and laugh hysterically.
Showering, dressing up etc. are much higher on my Maslow pyramid. -

If you were buried alive for a hundred years, what's the first thing you'd do when you finally clawed your way through your coffin and all the dirt?
I'd eat. Something super unhealthy and very delicious, like a big double cheese burger and curly fries and a thing of gravy to dip them in and the biggest sprite I can get.
-
@whybird i know that's what I'd be craving!

@swampgas probably find a bathroom and pee. then take a long shower.
-
If you were buried alive for a hundred years, what's the first thing you'd do when you finally clawed your way through your coffin and all the dirt?
@swampgas cry, a lot. It's literally my worst nightmare.
That's honestly the main reason I want to be cremated.

@ketmorco there would definitely be less time for crying in the furnace as opposed to in the ground

@anji haha you had me for a second, hippy!
For real, coffee is legit worth the karmic cycle of death and rebirth
-
@whybird intellect sure, sanity though maybe not so much lol. But for the sake of the tale, sure why not.
Buried in lets say around 500 ce. Dark ages. Magic is real and werewolves and spooky things roam the earth, albeit rarely.
Clothes are rags, flesh is mostly rotted away; youre a gruesome sight. The village you once lived in nearby is burned to the ground and covered in ivy and bramble
