Mistborn is so good! Fascinating system of magic.
I'm currently listening to the Spellmonger series by Terry Mancour. Really excellent world-building.
Also reading Dungeon Crawler Carl. It's stupid and hilarious and I love it.

Now I'm doing Murderbot Diaries.

Mistborn is so good! Fascinating system of magic.
I'm currently listening to the Spellmonger series by Terry Mancour. Really excellent world-building.
Also reading Dungeon Crawler Carl. It's stupid and hilarious and I love it.
Oh, maybe hold off on Dungeon Crawler Carl. I didn't know about Mila when I mentioned that. One of the main characters is a talking tortie, so that could be rough.
I lost my little old tortie in 2019. So sorry for your loss.
