@AncTreat5358 my pleasure! I have a brain injury and sometimes I have huge meltdowns, which are hard to explain as well. 😸

I wanted to apologize to my dear Fediverse friends. A month ago, I started a bipolar medication and an ADHD one. These have apparently changed my personality in ways that aren't me, to the extent several IRL people have needed to bring it up (including some doctors).

I'm sorry if my posts this month have come across as over-the-top or intense.

@AncTreat5358 That can happen. I can't take stimulants because they will make me crazy manic. I used to take 100mg of Strattera a day but it made me lose all impulse control and made me hypomanic, even though it's a non-stimulant. Now I'm down to just 40mg of Strattera and mentally stable now. It feels like a catch 22 so to speak with bipolar + ADHD. I've never seen any of your other posts, but I've been there. I've been taking Geodon + Lamictal for 11 years.

@AutisticInnovator I appreciate your candor in sharing your experience. As it happens, Lamictal is my new bipolar med that may also help short fiber neuropathy.

@AutisticInnovator @AncTreat5358 helped me a bit with migraines as well (but nCGRP medications help me more). Was prescribed for depression, but didn't help much with that

@AncTreat5358 Huh. If anything, they were intense in a good way. I noticed mostly positive posts. Definitely not “over the top” tho.
Hope you can get your meds sorted!

@clarissawam Thanks Clarissa for the reassurance!

And thanks; can't wait for the psychiatrist visit to make some adjustments.

(A joke. I had a similar situ when I was 30. Cool of you to give us this follow-up. Kudos.)
