For those who have read #Handala's claims that they hacked #Verifone, Verifone sent me the following statement:

"Verifone closely monitors the security and integrity of its systems worldwide. We have observed recent allegations on March 11, 2026 from threat actors claiming an intrusion into our systems in Israel. Verifone has found no evidence of any incident related to this claim and has no service disruption to our clients."

Yeah, I’m not sure I believe them. The screenshots appear to tell a different story. For the record, I’ve documented point of sale systems, and if a user has access to the screens in the screenshots, then they have access to probably all of terminals in Israel. That’s the equivalent of sudo access.

@PogoWasRight This site has some history of their MO, which is infiltrate and wait, and some ideas on why, if access=true, they are not doing anything.

@MissConstrue Yes. The problem with believing Handala's claims early on is their checkered history of fabricating data or using old data at times.
