Each THAAD missile costs more than $12.8 million, and American defense contractors produce only 96 a year. Iran has been producing Shahed-136 suicide drones at a rate of about 5,000 to 6,000 a month, at a cost as low as $50,000 each. We launch 2-4 thaad for every drone.
