Plano students joined protests as Gov. Abbott tells state officials to investigate districts believed to encourage or facilitate walkouts

If one were to only read billionaire owned media, one might believe that #Texas is a seething, roiling mass of #Yeehawdists; red hats, blue line flags, big guns, and an unholy devotion to protecting pedophiles. But y’all, that’s only the #Republicans. The rest of us think they’re insane.

Granted, we fight a hard battle, 5000 rural votes can override 50,000 city votes. Land has more power than urbanites. But here’s the thing, the Observer tells a story about rural high schools walking out of class despite clear and obvious threats from the Guardian of Pedophile Governor #Abbott.

These are farm kids, the next gen of Texas rural voters.

Republicans are abusing millions of people to distract from the fact that as a party, they’ve chosen to protect child rapists. And the kids? They see right through that shit. They know monsters when they see them.
