Ich sehe die Intention hinter dem Video.
Nur teils maßlos übertrieben. Die RAM liegt tatsächlich bei einer knappen Million. Die CIWS Bursts liegen aber nur bei ca. 3000 pro Sekunde. Also nicht 200000, wie suggeriert.
Warum schreibe ich das: weil diese Übertreibung die Intention zu nichte macht.

@solarpapst Ich verstehe und teile die Absicht hinter dem Video, aber wie schon jemand schrieb: gibt’s eine Quelle für diese Zahlen? Sieht bei den Gatlings deutlich zu hoch aus. Und eine Quelle und belastbares Zahlenmaterial wären nochmal ein stärkeres Argument. Coole Musik dazu!

@Ollivdb Interessant. Hast du auch die Gesamtbetriebskosten berücksichtigt? Wie viel das Schiff unter den Systemen kostet? Was es kostet das nötige Personal auszubilden? Was der Diesel kostet? Was Wartung und Instandhaltung kosten?

Technically, not correct. The government spends money into existence.
All the money that’s being spent is a choice of who gets the money.
Likewise federal taxes, remove money from the economy. Who the money is taxed from is also a choice.
We can either spend it on things that benefit everyone and keep everyone safe, fed and housed, or we spend it on billionaires

Mit welcher Bedrohungslage rechnen wir, dass wir diesen Pott überhaupt brauchen? Oder tut es nicht auch eine Nummer kleiner, wie eine Visby Klasse, und stattdessen 200 neue Kindergärten gebaut oder renoviert?"

Die M61-Vulcan-Kanone (die man da wahrscheinlich meist sieht) verschießt in einer Sekunde(!) 100 Schuss(!) 20x102mm-Munition. Das ist schon eher kleines Granatenkaliber und etwas wofür man als Privatmensch nur schwer Preise findet.
Die Preise für die Raketen die im Video angezeigt werden, erscheinen jedenfalls eher zu niedrig: meist etwa 1 Mio., zum Vergleich: die billigsten Raketen für das PATRIOT-System kosten 3,5 Mio/Stück...
