    @newsguyusa - you gotta wonder if its not for one of two reasons:
    1/ Border control / ICE and / or military have fucked up in a major way and are hiding something, or,
    2/ El Paso is Democrat-run and Agent Orange is just being his usual clueless but spiteful self.

            Update: The FAA flight restriction has been lifted allowing flights to resume at El Paso International Airport (ELP) after it had been announced there would be no commercial or civil air traffic there for 10 days. https://www.ktsm.com/local/el-paso-news/faa-grounds-all-flights-to-and-from-el-paso-international/

                    @newsguyusa OK, what has happened elsewhere in the US we were meant to miss whilst speculating over El Paso, any ideas?

                      @newsguyusa First it is for 10 days without warning and now it is off. Did Trump attempt to tariff the air itself?

                        @aadeacon @newsguyusa
                        A different restriction was added immediately afterward, for the same duration. It's west of El Paso centered on the border wall where an access road meets it.

                        Probably some high-ranking fascist planning to go there for a photo op 🙄

                          “That is not the information that we in Congress have been told,” Rep. Escobar says of Trump administration claims El Paso airspace had to be shut down because of incursions by Mexican cartel drones. https://kvia.com/news/top-stories/2026/02/11/rep-veronica-escobar-criticizes-faa-over-sudden-el-paso-airspace-closure/
