    I played the original #hack back in 1991 and 1992. I wish I could get it to work on #linux.

        Yeah, what I liked about #hack in the #dos days was how easy it was to save-scumm (reuse your save file).

        Also, the fortunes file was in plain text, so you could read them and learn.

        And encountering your own ghost. A very young me was blown away by that.

          @beetle_b I’d always tun it on Linux. That and some of the variants such as Rogue.
