Second flight. CO2 not much better during boarding and taxiing. The air is NOT fresh on planes at all times.

@augieray on my flights, the CO2 would always spike until we were actually in the air and then it would come down a little. I was actually kind of shocked how low it was in the airports though!

@augieray Yikes on the reading, but nifty little air monitor!

@SuperSluether I've had some great readings in airports, but in the San Antonio airport is was poor.

@augieray @rpmik I didn't think that the air on airplanes was ever fresh.

@mlanger @augieray bleed air fed into the air conditioning would qualify but cabin airflow often seems subpar especially if they lack gaspers (those swivel outflow vents above passengers). It’s hell when there’s no gaspers as I need a stream of air in my face to combat stagnate, over warmed air

@rpmik @augieray The only thing I like is the fact that I can start someplace, end up someplace else more than a day's drive away just a few hours later, and have great views out the window if it's not cloudy (or sometimes even if it is cloudy).

Otherwise, I really do not like airline travel anymore. It has become a hassle from the moment you start booking a ticket until the end of the trip when you are back at home with your luggage.
