I want to make double-sided business cards that are actually a sticker on one side. I'm fine with making my own (a cursory search of several online print services has failed me)... but it's a matter of finding the right sticker sheets. They have to be printable on *both* sides, and may end up being "regular" sticker sheets that coincidentally have a plain, non-glossy white backing. And further to that, I'd prefer the backing to be relatively heavy stock. I'm really challenging myself here...

@jsstaedtler Yeah, I can think of many double sided options, and many sticker options, but as soon as you want both, good luck.

    It would be cool though.

@jsstaedtler I think I've seen one or two artists at conventions have cards like that before, so at the very least it seems like something that can be done...

@hamstercorpse Yeah, I've received a sticker that served as contact info for an artist. It was a regular sticker, maybe 1.5 square inches, and had printing on the back. So that much *is* doable, I just gotta hunt for the materials to upgrade it to business card-sized, and hopefully to a heavier backing

Well hey, I found back-printing on stickerapp.ca and... I just went for it so I'll see in 1-2 weeks how it turns out

            Link Preview Image
Back-Paper Print Stickers - Paper with a purpose - StickerApp CA

Back-paper print? In full color? Yep. Take your sticker to the next level by printing a design on the sticker’s back paper – in any color, shape, or size.

            favicon

            (stickerapp.ca)

This is what I submitted, the logo is a kiss-cut sticker, and the other image goes on the backing.

(Actually quite relieved at this, since you never know what a company will deem "inappropriate" nowadays)

@jsstaedtler I've never tried anything "inappropriate" but I've definitely had copyrighted stuff printed and have never gotten any pushback from any of the places I've printed things at.

My business stickards just arrived and they are flippin' GLORIOUS

It's a vinyl sticker on a backing like copy paper, so altogether it's virtually the same weight as a business card—just floppier. Print on the backing is like a home colour laser printer, and StickerApp was clear up front that it wouldn't be jaw-dropping quality.

I ordered 25, and paid CAD$65 including tax (with free FedEx from Sweden). Steep, but a larger quantity would be more affordable per card

@jsstaedtler I usually use Vistaprint. I've never had any issues with them and their quality is good, so I just go back to them. But that also means I've never really stopped around.

If you want super high quality but also high cost you could try a photo shop like Vistek or Henry's.

@jsstaedtler ooh, they're really pretty, I like them.

The sticker wasn't what I was expecting, I wasn't expecting the cut (even though you did mention it), but I like it better this way.
