With the latest 1Password price increases I’m finally looking into other options, specifically Vaultwarden, which seems like it will do most of what I want.

Adding an organization and second user will be useful for set machines so I can have a limited set of work passwords available

Been testing out Vaultwarden on a test import of my accounts and while it's missing some features and item types compared to 1Password there is one feature for which I'd switch alone: customizing suggested accounts based on URL.
I self-host a bunch of services at subdomains and 1Password always suggests all of them. Vaultwarden let's me set a more strict URL match

@emorydunn I don’t imagine myself switching because I’ve really come to really on the @1password cli tools and the ssh agent.
I know it’s not their wheelhouse but I wonder if @zak has recommendations here - because it’s definitely frustrating.

@sudonem @emorydunn @1password Not quite, unfortunately. I'm not quite self hosting enough for this to be noticeable to me personally just yet. But I can see it getting annoying eventually.
I do know that the team knows about this, and you're not the only ones who have mentioned it. But I also don't know what the status is. Maybe @blake knows more.

@zak @emorydunn @1password @blake gotcha. Thanks.

I’m sure it’s not especially high on the priority list since the focus is likely to be more on enterprise features these days - but even using 1pass at work it’s a decent irritant because we have lots of internal apps hosted as subdomains - so it still comes up in that environment as well.
In THEORY it would be a non-issue for enterprise because you’d be SSO everywhere but of course that just isn’t always possible.
