@Byronrabbit She scored two on Amazon a couple years ago and continues to try to find more. Six actually popped up a few days ago but by the time BunMum tried to check out a day later they were already sold out
. It is a soft wood and very satisfying to chomp. If you run across anything comparable in your travels please let me know- I am going through a very chompy spring

@ncrav I have no doubt you’d make short work of this carving project, Lua 🤭

️Do you know what species of wood it is? I presume it's a soft "hardwood" so it's not full of the resins and whatnot of coniferous woods?
Maybe tulipwood (which is normally sold under the name "poplar", even though it's not related to poplar trees at all...)?

@cazabon @Byronrabbit
Not sure… she doesn’t consume it, just sharpens her teeth and leaves sawdust…

️ From what I can tell it is actually the pith of yucca but the drying process and source means saponin is negligible compared to other yucca products. -

@Byronrabbit @cazabon Thank you, kind friend
️ This is so great to have some more chewing options recommended that aren’t too crazy hard

I buy their willow tents and other toys from them and have always been happy. They were Busy Bunny before. Shipping takes a little while — I think everything comes from California.
