@Rickster1963 I don't set our air to 70, as that is a bit too cool for me. not only that, depending on how hot it is outside, it makes it run a lot longer at a time. I keep our air at around 73 as well. if it starts getting really hot outside, making the air run more and more, I bump it up to 74 or 75, because that is still tolorable.

@JamminJerry Yeah here too but the apartment won't cool down much I don't think, so I'll leave the heat off here.

@Rickster1963 here is some little secret tricks for you. well one main trick. if you just keep your heat or your air set to where you know it is comfortable, lets just use mine 73 for example, it is best to leave the heat on when it goes above 73, or your hair on when it goes below 73 depending on which you are using. if in the summer you turn your air off, and you don't turn it back on until it gets up to 77, it is going to run constent, and hard until it gets to 72 or 72. where if you just leave the air on, it will start working once it gets to 74/75 in your apartment, and cool it down, which mneans it will work a lot less to get it down to that temp, and work oless keeping it there.

@Rickster1963 so using my example, right now it is too cold for the air, so we are using heat, as it still gets rather chilly at night. but like I said right now, it is almost 79 in here, the heat is on, but set at 73. so it won't kick in until it hits 72 in here, instead of me waiting until I get cold, lets say 70 or 69, and then it has to work harder to get us back up to 73. smile.

@JamminJerry It doesn't get so cold here with apartments above and below and one beside me. It's kind of like insulation.

@Rickster1963 sadly though with apartments, while that part is actually nice, if you fart someone might pound on your cealing. I know, I had it happen at sometime between 4:30 and 5:00 in the morning when I let a very healthy very loud fart into the toilet. ROFL! it was funny I have to admit, but still. you have to be very very careful how loud you are in your apartment.

@Rickster1963 right, but listening to music like I do, you can very easielly get in trouble. what you don't think is loud, someone else might. I should know. again, been there, done that.

@JamminJerry Oh yeah, I completely know what you mean. I make sure not to play mine too loud here. I used to have a neighbor down below me that played theirs very loud and I didn't like it and had to complain a few times.

@Rickster1963 see that's just it, depending on how loud it was, and how often someone does it, I don't say shit, but I expect the same curdicy if I want to listen to some music of my own. the speakers I have on my computer now would deffinitly get me in trouble. a 12 inch sub. even turned most of the way down, it can still have some pretty good kick.
