Today being what it is, I want to say it's cool how Cockos handles accessibility. No special events, no grandstanding, just making REAPER better one day at a time, the same way they handle other development. If you want to make music or do anything around audio production with a screen reader, give REAPER and OSARA a shot. You'll only find smart, hard working people on both teams (except for some of the times when I'm around).
And now, back to the annual influx of noise nobody believes...

@AstralAudio @Scott I believe Scott was referring to the fact that there are many companies who claim they care about accessibility, but only on Global Accessibility Awareness Day, which this year was on May 21st. In contrast, Cockos, the makers of the REAPER digital audio workstation software, improve accessibility of REAPER version by version, document it in the What's New file like any other change, and don't make special noise about it. They just do it because it’s the right thing to do.

@Scott@tweesecake.social I'd kinda like to try - #Reaper - on #Linux #Mint - with #SurgeXT , lol? Just to 'see' how Orca handles the UI vs. #NVDA on #Windows ? -
