    Did we learn nothing from the Iraq war?

    The loss of thousands of innocent lives, the human and environmental catastrophe and the destabilisation of entire regions.

    Another world is possible: one powered by peace, justice and renewable energy, not oil, gas and fossil fuel-driven conflict. Ending the age of fossil fuels means weakening the systems that enrich autocrats and warmongers, and building a future that puts people, not profit, first.

    It’s #TimeToResist

        @greenpeace@mastodon.social Fully agreed, thank you for promoting one the most important low-carbon and dispatchable electricity sources - #nuclear power which works perfectly along with renewables!

            @kravietz @greenpeace

            No. Too expensive, dangerous and not needed at all.

              @cdfinder@techhub.social @greenpeace@mastodon.social

              Comparing the CO2 emission intensity of electricity between Germany and France it seems like it's desperately needed.

                Not at all. We will be CO2 neutral without it easily.

                  But it's not and France practically is.

                    @greenpeace the US and Israel and Russia have greed running through their veins… that and bloodthirst. The US has been at war (armed conflict) for 232 years in its 250 years of existence. Israel has been killing since it was founded on Palestinian soil. The creation of Israel is the biggest mistake the West made after the Second World War.
