Slonnesh - Doom Siren
bit of a dub style underlying this decay & destruction. never boring, never quite comprehensible in the best of ways.

@tsrono Eczem's music sounds so cool. Both production and composition are top. I found them through this Tokinogake release, which I was actually just listening to today.

Article C - Transient Aphasia
a bit of a mishmash of genres here, but makes for a nice enough listen through.
Transient Aphasia, by Article C
Transient Aphasia by Article C, released 01 February 2023 1. Carbon Dioxide 2. Serum / XOR 3. Sensu Stricto Transient Aphasia constitutes 3 œ tracks recorded between 2017 and 2018. High vibrational automations lead to a loss of form and an inability to recognize words. Nasal resonances condense into rhythmic epiphanies inside a beaker of evaporating analogue bass exercises and subwoofer exorcisms. The image of confusion. 44.1k 16-bit .wav files mastered for CD + video of Serum (Unfolding Subconscious) alternative mix

[JGT133] "Labellum Of Porcelain", by Chaperone
[JGT133] "Labellum Of Porcelain" by Chaperone, released 01 August 2025 1. Valium Diaspora 2. Orchid In Prostitution 3. Chrome Reflecting Pool (Part 1) 4. Chrome Reflecting Pool (Part 2) 5. Tazetta Narcissus In Paperwhite 6. Chrome Sand (Part 1) 7. Chrome Sand (Part 2) 8. Labellum Of Porcelain (Pavilion Mix by Glyn Maier) JUNGLE GYM RECORDS presents "Labellum Of Porcelain", a new and expansive offering from the one and only Chaperone. Wandering through these deserted halls a great creeping melancholia becomes impossible to ignore, the tattered walls on which our 7 sonic still lifes are hung, each with the peeling brushstrokes of long forgotten romance and despair. Entering the courtyard we discover the Chrome Reflecting Pool, shrouded in darkness a drowning orchid forever frozen in time, the vines of eternity twisting slowly around our ankles, shattered porcelain like sand between our toes. Once inside, "Labellum Of Porcelain" offers no exit... a fully immersive purgatory, exclusively via JUNGLE GYM. đ„ đ„ đ„

M Geddes Gengras - Light Pipe
double album of some really quality, pensive pieces. variety in there tho, deeper than it might seem for sure.
Light Pipe, by M Geddes Gengras
Light Pipe by M Geddes Gengras, released 12 October 2018 1. Mirror 2. Subway 3. Nave 4. Chancel 5. Water Study 6. Cherise 7. Irwin 8. Pinnacle 9. Vulture 10. Cherise (return) To summarise the work of M.Geddes Gengras is no easy feat. A tireless artist, whose output sprawls across experimental dub, ambient and low key techno, his wide ranging discography reveals a curiosity that serves as a primary driver for creation. Light Pipe is arguably Gengrasâ most ambitious recording project to date. His 10th solo recording is an epic undertaking, spanning over two and a half hours. Across the two CD set, Gengras charts out evocative landscapes of texture and harmony. Working with very simple elements, he creates a tidal like sound space, where sound layers flow seamlessly, rising and falling with an ever-changing sense of motion. These pieces were written across several years responding the site specific performance situations. These include a durational performance in Los Angeles at The Getty Centerâs Irwin Garden, a special performance alongside the banks of the LA river and performances at the El Rey & Regent Theatres, Each disc in this edition focuses specifically on either interior and exterior spaces; the indoor and the outdoor, reflecting the specific conditions of how sound operates in these types of situations. Light Pipe is a long-form work within which multiple states of listening are possible and moreover encouraged. Itâs music that is ideal for deep immersion; for sleep, for flying and for any creative states within which a sense of expansion is needed.

Lawrence English - A Colour for Autumn
1st listen, this just got announced a few hours ago...1st track is nice & not dark exactly but...there's space for something deep in there. we'll see how the rest of it goes.
A Colour For Autumn, by Lawrence English
A Colour For Autumn by Lawrence English, released 17 March 2009 1. Droplet 2. Watching It Unfold 3. The Prelude To 4. The Surface Of Everything 5. Galaxies Of Dust 6. Stillness In Motion 7. And Clouds For Company A Colour For Autumn is the second in a series of editions from Australian sound artist Lawrence English that trace the experience of seasonal transit. Following on from For Varying Degrees of Winter (published by Baskaru), A Colour For Autumn reflects on and explores the transitory nature of Autumn - counterpointing the uniformity of the âtermâ with the varied qualities expressed by landscapes in different countries. Like all environmental phenomena, seasonal variation is highly localised, and expressed not only visually through vegetation etc, but also sonically as insect life, leaves under foot and fauna all change in response to the climatic shifts. Northern and southern hemisphere experiences of Autumn are strikingly different and itâs also this contrast which rests at the very centre of A Colour For Autumn. Recorded between 2007-2009, this series of pieces acts almost as small auditory portraits of given spaces in the often gentle throes of Autumn - âDropletâ for example features field recordings gathered in Notre-Dame De La Garde in Marseilles, capturing the infamous âMistralâ wind as it blows the first cooler breezes of Autumn into the city in 2007. By contrast âWatching It Unfoldâ measures a more Australian experience of Autumn - a series of open static phrases, shifting ever so slightly - a reflection of the slow changes of the season around Englishâs home of Brisbane. Working with a range of analog approaches, A Colour For Autumn is a tonally rich affair, sourcing much of itâs sounds from a mixture of instruments, field recordings and assorted electronics. A Colour For Autumn also features contributions from New Zealandâs Dean Roberts (whose vocals adorn the opening moments of the album) and Viennese musician Christian Fennesz, who offers intricate clusters of electronics in âThe Surface Of Everythingâ. This is an album of subtle variation, graded hues and tonal warmth, all of which act as an invitation for the listener to consider their own localised transition of Autumn.
