Does anyone know someone in #Ottawa that repairs bikes outside of a shop in Centretown/Chinatown/Glebe areas?

I'm an avid biker but am bad at minor tune-ups and repairs, like tightening breaks or replacing tubes. I'm looking to cut out the shop wait times since it's for my daily commute.

@theashtonstarr Minor tune-ups like tightening brakes is easy but I get it. There is a mobile bike shop in town but as I've never had to use it, I don't remember the name. So that might be an option.

@Dianora I think that's what I was looking for - something on demand that can be close by. I looked it up and there's Velofix, TunesOnWheels, BikeMobile and Ottawa Mobile Bike Repair - I'll check them out, thanks!

for minor tune ups, maybe you could hit ReCycles and do it yourself? they’ll teach you how!

@theashtonstarr @Dianora I’ve used Velofix, they’re good but pricey! at some point it becomes cheaper to buy your own bike stand and do it at home.
