@rebeccawatson I think the last two words of that post, which obviously triggered the ban, is pretty disappointing and lazy as far as good insulting goes. I would have told the apologist to try to rub those two last brain cells floating around on life support in that soulless, empty black vacuum of abject despair he calls a cranium really freaking hard and put 2+2 together. And then I would say "But I bet my last paycheck on Kalshi that you won't, so at least either way something good happens."

That was my thought. Not the excessive effort spent on telling someone off, the other part.

Possibly because I'm only vaguely aware there is an actor with that name, but why he would have an apologist I've no clue. So while I want to say I am disappoint, skep isn't required to explain herself to me.

Probably, however the escalation ladder would be longer, and you'd be contacted by a human or given a opportunity to appeal that would be read by a human.

Those smaller servers would risk defederation at the end of that ladder if no mod actions were taken.

I was suspended on 𝕏-Twitter for telling a crypto$ scammer to “unalive” themselves.

Sociopathic media will ban on sight and don't ask Qs, yet that doesn't mean one should make mods here have extra work.

@ischack @rebeccawatson Well, I just saw a rehearsal of the opera Electra, based on an ancient Greek play by Sophocles. I got some laughs, including from a person who works at the opera, by suggesting a one-line summary: "Kill them all and let the gods sort them out."
Lots of heads roll in this opera.
