#Hypercard was a shitty flat table "database" if my memory serves me right.
I was around at the time, I remember briefly looking and not understanding what the fuss was about...
PCs had sophisticated databases by then (I wanna say Ahton-Tate DB III?)

I think it was only notable because it was a first for Macheads?
