              You could make the argument that Evangelism is effectively a separate religion from Christianity, since the respective tenets of those two ideologies have almost nothing to do with each other.

                      @newsguyusa

                      #Pentagon #presssecretary prayer was “obviously inspired by dialogue in Pulp Fiction”... “Anyone saying the Secretary misquoted Ezekiel 2517 is peddling fake news and ignorant of reality.”

                      ⭕NO, YOU ARE🤪

                      #PulpFiction writer-director #QuentinTarantino reportedly drew from a scene in the 1973 #japanesefilm “Bodyguard Kiba” as the basis for Jackson’s monologue.

                      Hegseth channels his inner Tarantino with fake Bible verse from Pulp Fiction

                      The defense secretary said his prayer drew on Ezekiel, but wording closely matches Quentin Tarantino dialogue

                              @newsguyusa Christ on a cracker. He not only doesn't know how to interpret the bible, he didn't even watch the end of Pulp Fiction when Jules says that he isn't the righteous man, and vengeance is in fact reserved to god.

                                @newsguyusa To be fair, the first part of it is real. But few people are like me: I thought it sounded off, so I looked it up. Apparently the DoD never checks references, or targeting information. Both of these have bad outcomes on schools.

                                  @SharonCrockett@toot.community @newsguyusa@flipboard.social Pope Leo already denounced this. But he probably does pay for MAGA to repent from their sins.

                                  Not that it is gonna help.

                                        @KanaMauna@sauropods.win @newsguyusa@flipboard.social They should sue the US government on grounds of unfair competition and antitrust.

                                          In a prayer delivered by US Defense Secretary Hegseth during a Pentagon worship service yesterday, he read the fake Ezekiel 25:17 verse from “Pulp Fiction" that Samuel L. Jackson’s character recited just before he shoots a man to death. https://variety.com/2026/film/news/pete-hegseth-pulp-fiction-fake-bible-verse-prayer-service-1236723446/

                                          @newsguyusa ...he cites a guy, that actually needs to get detailed instructions how to cleanup the mess he created in a car?

                                          time to send in mr. wolf i'd say, the earlier the better.
