Though not for nothing, that that world did lead directly to this one.But Carlin's '90s stuff really did bum cynical highschooler me out. He wasn't doing comedy for a while there, just ranting. He made a lot of good points, but some shitty ones too, but hardly any humor either way.
He came back around with at least one special I remember from the oughts (I think) where he was basically reveling in being a weird old guy.
