@newsguyusa Seems strange to me because Crockett was a very potent operator on Committees and to be replaced by Mr Talarico looks a bit like the way the MAGA people operate.

@DjityDjity the republicans goaded her into running; it was a last-minute affair with some cooked polls seeded by republicans. Talarico against Paxton would be the strongest match for democrats in November.

@newsguyusa not sure but being male and enthusiastically Christian may help but are not always a positive when it comes to embattled discourse.
