    @EUCommission

    Interesting how
    "Over half of Europeans trust the EU
    51% of Europeans trust the EU."
    is not mentioned.

        @EUCommission while you do have the GDPR and you force companies to play nice you are forcing age verification and I bet none of your constituents really appreciate that.

          @EUCommission when it comes to representing the values of democracy, Europe is the most important global player at this point in time. We need to set an example for the rest of the world and make sure that we truly understand our position right now.

            @EUCommission die EU bringt Vorteile aber die EU ist ausbaufähig und gerade Deutschland blockt da ab und eigene Vorteile nicht zu gefährden.

            Wir müssen die EU weiterentwickeln zu einen eigenen Staat, wo der Bürger viel Einfluss auf die Politik hat, wo die Politiker-innen nicht mehr so viel Mist bauen, wo man den Bürger vertraut und ihn nicht überwacht
            Wo man die Armut wirklich bekämpfen möchte und nicht nur so tut (UvdL dazu braucht man Geld nicht nur Worte)

                          all they seem to have is an extreme sense of entitlement to *demand* perfect now. and little understanding of what it takes to *work* towards better

                                @benroyce @jtb @EUCommission jtb is correct in that the Commission is unelected — we only directly elect the representatives in Parliament; and the members of the European Council and Council of the European Union, inasmuch as we have direct influence on our heads of state and ministers. (neither is to be confused with the Council of Europe; I wish the EU changed the name of both). We the citizens have practically zero control over the Commission.

                                    someone who loudly demands perfect right now, with absolutely zero ability to understand what it takes to work towards better. you don't do the work, what you do is bellyache and call that "work." toxic idealism, often a thinly veiled right wing cosplay troll. or, you are genuinely as you are, and just this authentically clueless and entitled

                                    voices like yours helped the usa become as it is today

                                      @benroyce @jtb @EUCommission jtb is correct in that the Commission is unelected — we only directly elect the representatives in Parliament; and the members of the European Council and Council of the European Union, inasmuch as we have direct influence on our heads of state and ministers. (neither is to be confused with the Council of Europe; I wish the EU changed the name of both). We the citizens have practically zero control over the Commission.

                                          @benroyce @phl @EUCommission I think criticizing government is perfectly acceptable in a democracy. It's what the press do all the time.
