@catsalad Not quite the same but a friend in the US recently found a spotted kitten "...roughly the size of a large fist..." on her patio and went to pick it up to take it to the wildlife rescue facility. As she did so Mummy (or Daddy; she said it was a large wildcat) came round the corner and she thanked her lucky stars that the patio door was still open and right behind her to seek sanctuary. Mummy or Daddy left with Junior in its mouth.
