    Put my SIM card from my iPhone 12 (iOS 26.2) into my Pixel 3a (LineageOS 22.2/Android 15) for today.

    So far everything is working. I might want to switch to Android in the future considering where iPhone and iOS is going with age verification.

    Currently, macOS is fine as I can easily downgrade if I update but iOS is barely hanging on.

    At least I have a backup device (albeit without 5G) that I can use if the unthinkable happens.

      @mrmasterkeyboard > (albeit without 5G)

      meanwhile my phone has working 5G and the only way I can get stable internet is disabling it because there's no infrastructure

        @reiddragon In my house its the same. I have no idea what the fuck happened but after we "upgraded" the router, I can't get a stable connection anywhere in the house meaning I need mobile data on all the time or its just unusable. Thankfully I have 120GB so I don't really need to worry.

        I mean, 4G is still good but I'm just dreading the day the government might want to shut that off too just like 3G because even 5G is spotty where I am I'm Scotland but we do have it. (More in cities though.)
