Seeing what #BlueSky is doing and that I've only now seen who the old CEO (who hasn't left but moved roles) really is, I no longer care to see posts nor people who bridge from there.
Fuck BlueSky. If I see another service or account being bridged from BlueSky, I will block your instance outright. I don't care.

The old CEO was also a huge transphobe who never apologised for what she did and had platformed transphobic journalist Jesse Singal and also defended transphobes in general.
Not to forget that BlueSky has been VERY sketchy regarding investments from cryptocurrency companies.
I suggest you do some research as well. This instance only gives 500 chars and I don't want to make multiple replies.

bridge blocking will do literally nothing but hurt inoperability, bluesky won't care but bridged accounts in your social circle (or if blocking server wide, your users) will.

@mrmasterkeyboard this is also a fundamental problem with fediblock culture. servers have real users that should be treated as important social connections, not just numbers - and, as such, the number one question to ask before blocking a server is: what is the _social_ impact?
overaggressive and inconsiderate server blocking is one of the main things turning people away from the fediverse, and this problematic culture needs to stop

@hexaheximal one thing I haven’t mentioned is that I’ve only over witnessed abuse really come from BlueSky on my side.
