Alright that thread is proof enough. I first assumed the new account was an imposter and didn't follow back - I assume many others do the same unfortunately.

Jerry is someone who abuse their admin role. If they don’t like you, instead of blocking you personally, they block you from 11,000 users on their site. Those people are unaware that Jerry is controlling who they can and cannot interact with. As a result, someone you follow mysteriously vanishes, and you’re not likely to notice, since 3, or 4 people missing out of the 100+ you follow goes unnoticed.Fedi has the same problem as forums: often, the wrong type of people run them

As I said, the Fediverse has the same problem that forum communities had.
It is the same type of person who would run many communities and attempt to control the narrative over all of them. So if you were to leave and try to escape that madness, you’d likely unknowingly stumble upon one of theirs, all while being suppressed across many communities.
And, of course, the users within their ecosystem, numbering in the thousands, are completely unaware, since it happens low-key.

We can infer K engaged in behavior that was taxing for his sever mods, and despite private warnings, continued to do so as K doesn't contest these from what I've seen. K has migrated to a server, jortshorse, where the admin's name is literally "killeveryhetero" that has a profile description "power abusing trash admin". K now using a server with an admin name that jokes at killing people should be an objective indicator that he doesn't jive with rule 1, "Do unto others as you think they would want done to them." of infosecSpace
Interestingly, the user LinuxIsBest going off on Jerry being part of some narrative conspiracy in this thread has something of a long ban history in fedimeta such as: mastodon.ar.al/@aral/115446974181831051
