@ChrisDuffley yeah. this is a tricky one. my flight is fully refundable, and I never paid to enter the conference. so like. nothing lost if I don't. but if my throat still hurts when I speak and swallow tomorrow, maybe not a good idea.

@Tamasg Nah, just make recordings and take careful notes about how your voice sounds, then make TGSpeechbox emulate it perfectly.

@jaybird110127 ha, but my voice has a slight Hungarian accent! Well, some people hear it, others don't. Although, the US English was tuned off the British phonemes thankfully. But yeah, if there's ever a paid form of tools, later on building a voice builder that uses some type of Neural network to do this is in the cards. We have a discussion open for it on the repo.

@Tamasg Aha so if US was based on a UK voice, that's probably why I've never quite gotten into that synth. To me it…just doesn't sound right, and I really can't explain better than that.

@jaybird110127 yeah, the only reason it even became multilingual, but tuning it to sound more US is a slow slow process. Compared to how it sounded even a month ago it's moving the needle, just not as fast as I'd like. On one hand the issues help move it faster, on another, the more issues, the more I see the imperfections and feel like there's a million things to ship and work on. So. Double-edged sword there. Without them I can't move forward, but with them the weight gets crushing. ha.

@luiscarlosgonzalez @x0 @jaybird110127 well, thinking with a way clearer and calmer head, I think my big big problem is that I'm treating the project too much like a second job and not enough like a fun hobby. When it began, it was fun hobby, but getting issues shifted my mind into resolution deadlines and kind of the mode I slip into at Spotify when we get a customer support ticket that's urgent. Honestly probably shouldn't do that, need to find a way to treat it like a hobby again.
