Is that even possible? PURL program means that Europe, Canada and Japan pay for US weapons from military stock delivered to Ukraine.

No weapons delivered to Ukraine, no need to restock them, no money. Nothing to divert.

Then we should simply stop buying their weapons.

If they aren't even planing to deliver, "buying" more from them is a waste of money. Better invest in ramping up e.g. SAMP/T, and IRIS-T production, as well as Ukrainian interception drones.

The money is much better spent there, than throwing more good money after the bad one.

By the way, are there any political parties thinking along those lines in your country? Luckily, in Finland we have the Communist Party, but they've been out of the parliament for many years. Other parties are all pro-US (except some single members).
