in light of discord etc might be the year i finally dump my remaining major social sites (IG and reddit, of which reddit at this point i think is causing me the most psychological harm, feel pretty over IG and not using it much atm anyway)

@fivexhotel i deleted my reddit account a couple years ago. still go there for news some times but it’s refreshing to never post/comment and not feel attached to it. in general, the scrolling of n social media site just gets mind numbing even when my goal is to space out for a bit. still on IG for keeping up w/some friends but haven’t had it on my phone for years. just check in on desktop. probably will split from it later this year as well though.

@trashpandaqc its probably a decent sign to me that i only find it remotely usable on desktop so i dont see ads or other random intrusions.. and yeah reddit has me looking at way too stupid stuff for too long with no gain, it feels inevitable to end up on it because of troubleshooting and stuff, maybe theres some way to lock down that experience
