@babe that makes absolute sense. It tickles the same brain connections for me.

@babe synesthesia?
@adriano I'd always thought that was things like taste, smell etc. I don't think I've ever heard of it as vision becoming some kind of generalised internal sense of another sense

@babe The spirals are vaguely reminiscent of a treble clef.
Or it could just be the Eiffel 65.

@babe if I had to describe how music feels like then your drawings would come pretty close tbh

My mom says that every note has a color and every color has a taste. She has perfect pitch. I think that kind of connection between senses is super important, if I'm trying to remember something I'm writing it, singing it, tapping my foot, imagining a picture to go along with it, etc.

@babe Reminds me quite a bit of the time vortex from the Doctor Who title sequence.

@babe they’re very “active” in a way that like still lives are not, almost like they have a time dimension in them; one kind of feels carried along by them in a similar way to following a piece of music?

@eestileib @FrazzledBrynn @adriano Some music triggers some kind of inner physical feeling for me, and certain images do the same thing Not always the same feeling but different things do it differently. Not just an 'I'm emotionally affected by this' but even neutral things sometimes it just hits

Having a passionate reaction to something is (in my mind) essential to having reacted to something with an artistic sense.
Not passionate as in it has to be overwhelming, but in the sense that it's happening "to you", not a decision you've made to behave in a certain way.
