    Age verification isn't about controlling kids' access to social media or other online content, it's about enabling the government to associate online behavior with a legal identity. Who needs a warrant when your computer will just report you to the FBI or the Bureau of Morality or whatever for criticizing the government?

        @gwynnion I have said it before and I will say it again if you look at what today's GOP and its "base" (maga + evangelicals) and the Taliban, the only thing that separates the two is one wears suits and ties and there is not much separation beyond that.

        The taliban already have this as their Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice
