@skinnylatte the US feels extremely "not normal" about gambling (i.e. repressing too hard until it inevitably leaks out anyways)
meanwhile in places where horse betting is popular, you can at least socially talk about it (i'm assuming SG has UK cultural influence there?)

@skinnylatte (being able to talk about it also means that peers can (in theory) call you out for gambling unhealthily)
