slowly switching to #Guix System from Arch. I'll be booting back and forth for a while and then using Distrobox while I fully move over

@futurile there are a lot of little things I'm learning or just don't know about. I'm not a programmer so I'm just learning to swim in the middle of the ocean with this. Right now it thinks my GPU is a 7590 or something when I actually have a 9060 XT, but I don't know if it's affecting performance. I'm currently booted into Arch because I don't have my work set up in Guix yet

@futurile all that being said, I really like the idea of declarative systems and the rollback features. The packages I have don't get lost when I can see them all in one place. It's fun learning new things

@futurile yeah, I'm using nonguix. I might join the IRC, but I don't want to overburden with the dozens of tiny issues I'm sure to have. I do wish there were instructions for getting GPU acceleration working fully though, and I couldn't find the module where steam is defined until I looked through the code in the nonguix repo. I want to learn packaging too
