      @evacide really well done and glad this exists. A little worried that journalists need to be told that simply repeating marketing statements authored by cops and surveillance tech companies is not a good thing.

      I see it all the time with big tech too. So much coming from our media is just a regurgitation of a company's press release. Like, is this where we are with journalism or am I missing some context

        @evacide I'd say that applies almost any institution deploying software. I'm not a journalist but I love this quotation which I think applies here:
