    I think it's pretty cool that the Fediverse has grown to the point where I learned about not one, but TWO relevant demonstrations in my own tiny city of Regina, Saskatchewan!

    One is today at 10 at the courthouse in Regina to support citizens suing the power company for building more fossil fuel infrastructure (more info here: https://www.sustainablesask.ca/court-action.html)

    And one is tomorrow at the Legislature Building to protest a data center (thanks to @action_jay for sharing!)

      @sundogplanets @action_jay Heya!
      Disclaimer: I am only asking you this question because I feel that you have a better handle on the subject than I do

      Does fracking happen in your area? If so, do you know of the legislation around produced water? E.g., Arizona and Colorado (may) only require ~4% of it to be reused whereas the other 96% is left as toxic waste & a new industry to clean and use the water for other purposes (like cooling) would be illegal because of legacy water rights claims
