    @roy_calum @Cal @munin

    It’s a weird space given all that’s going on.. the sharpness of the real word is bit much even for me to take, but what’s going on is so over the top that it can’t quite be handled in euphemism

          Yeah, the crazy thing about content warning is that if you describe why you’re planting it then the filter itself that people use seems to be doing the job better. I don’t know it’s one of those corner cases that filtering words makes a whole lot more sense.

            Scolds? For taking cameras into court? Automatic contempt of court sentence surely? The US legal system seems unduly harsh on everyday citizens but so accommodating to the wealthy.

              Just goes to show how arrogant these tech bros and their supporters are, granted these glasses may not be turned on, but they could easily wear just normal sunglasses or glasses (if needed) which would not have provoked a reaction.

              There may be nothing to this, but they are not helping themselves.

                  @zleap @munin “there may be nothing to this”—-I disagree, but I think the point they are making is that they consider themselves above the law.

                  If they aren’t held in contempt then they get away with it, and THAT is the point.

                    @munin Every time I've entered a federal or county courthouse—sometimes to serve jury duty, to support a relative before a judge, or to just do some business with the county—I've had to put my phone into a locker. Only lawyers could bring their phones into the building. And I would be checked by guards to ensure that I didn't break the rules.

                    I can’t imagine that Zuckerberg & co. didn’t know that they were violating the rules of the court.

                                As Zuckerberg appeared to testify regarding Instagram’s negative impact on children, it was noted that individuals accompanying him were wearing the camera-equipped glasses, which have potential, upcoming AI-driven facial recognition capabilities.
