Maybe someone who knows more about #federation might be able to help me here: So my single-user #Pixelfed instance is sitting on a 20GB PSQL database after just one year.

Maybe someone who knows more about #federation might be able to help me here: So my single-user #Pixelfed instance is sitting on a 20GB PSQL database after just one year. Is there any way to make this more viable in the long term, like getting rid of old post info I got like 1 year ago from other servers? Or any other way to improve the storage efficiency here? It just feels weird that the database is using up more storage at this point then the image files saved on this instance…

@grosser_mensch I am working on a new command you can run to clear out remote activities easily, and you will be able to automate this with a custom window of X days (ie: remove remote posts older than X days that I haven't interacted with)
