@dansup And it got better after leaving SyFy. It was a show that grew, as often happens.

Still, it's very hard to translate such a sweeping saga into a TV series. The books, ahem, are pulse pounding.

@dansup Currently rewatching with the wife (missed seasons 5 and 6 because I was still reading the books), and it holds up to the test of time way better than I expected. Indeed, a great show!

@dansup You won't regret it. There was just one that turned a bit clunky--they decided to become very philosophical--but everything else was amazing. (I don't remember which the clunker was --IMHO--but read it anyway. Just to complete the set. )
