Is your bum part of your legs?
@davidnjoku Having had relatively extensive reconstructive surgery on my right leg after a car nearly killed me, I can answer this one! The answer is 'no', because medically-speaking your leg is only the bit from the knee down.
It makes slightly more sense if you think about animal legs and how they're articulated.

Is your bum part of your legs?
Having raised three girls I have explained there's an area where the leg ends and the ass begins and if we have to debate which it is the skirt is TOO SHORT.

That only accounts for the “knee joint + tibia + fibula”. What about the “femur” thigh bone, isn’t that part of the leg? -
Is your bum part of your legs?
@davidnjoku answered yes.
Anatomically, your “bum” is 2 sets of major muscles attaching your “pelvis” hip bone to the upper part of your “femur” thigh bone. While it is not part of the skeleton, without it we would _not_ be able to walk/run/climb/etc. -

Is your bum part of your legs?
@davidnjoku legs are from the knees down. Knees up is torso. Bum is definitely not part of your legs.
My legs do not fart

@WiteWulf Your legs don't fart? Don't know if you've got kids, but if you do, I bet they'd say otherwise!

Anatomically it’s more part of the back, if my physio is right.
